The jacket has a low-bulk comfortable fit with a full-length zipper, a hood, and two zippered hand pockets. Its nylon finish tends to shed snow and wind. This reviewer uses it as part of a two-layer down system in winter Alaska. It is so warm and so light, perfect for Oregon weather, hikes and snowshoeing. It is water resistant and I highly recommend the one with the hood. He's about 6' and 200 lbs with a 34" waist and broad shoulders (just so you know for size). He wears Large for everything, but this Large is VERY wide. The sleeves are a great lenth but it fitted like a potato sack on him. I think both of us could fit in there! Needless to say we returned it and are going to try a smaller size... |
